Maspo Enerji, one of Türkiye’s leading companies in the field of renewable energy with its successful operations, received awards in two different categories at the “2019 Turkey Bonds & Loans Awards” following the project finance agreement signed in 2018 with a consortium of Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank, Halkbank, and Kuveyt Türk for its second-phase investment, which will quadruple its installed capacity after the completion of its first-phase investments in Manisa/Alaşehir in 2017. Maspo Enerji was awarded second place in the “Energy Project Finance of the Year” category and third place in the “Project Finance of the Year” category.

Following the award ceremony held in Istanbul, Gürmen Group Board Member Yasemin Gür noted that they had recently become the first Turkish company to be accepted into the RE100 platform, recognized as the global renewable energy league for companies that source all of their consumed energy from renewable resources, and stated: “As Maspo Enerji, we are delighted to receive awards in two separate categories. It is of great importance to us that our Group’s environmentally friendly renewable energy investments, made for a more livable world, are deemed worthy of awards by respected national and international institutions. On this occasion, we wish our awards to be auspicious.”

With the rising value of renewable energy and the goal of “More Green Energy, A Healthier Future,” Maspo continues its efforts toward the realization of the third and fourth phases of the project.
