Greenhouse Gas Emissions Policy

In order to achieve the global net-zero emissions target by 2050 as set out in the Paris Agreement, to avoid the adverse impacts of climate change, and to limit the increase in the global average temperature to 1.5°C, our policy is to:

• Take energy and resource efficiency into account across the entire value chain,

• Prioritize the use of recyclable materials,

• Implement waste management and efficiency practices,

• Carry out awareness-raising activities for employees, customers, and the supply chain,

• Give priority to suppliers that contribute to the Company’s greenhouse gas emission reduction targets and, where possible, work with local producers,

• Take emissions generation into consideration in the planning and execution of logistics operations,

• Participate in circular economy business processes to support the transition to a low-carbon economy,

• Calculate greenhouse gas emissions in line with the principle of transparency, define targets and commitments, and ensure the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,

• Discipline all operational processes in accordance with international standards in order to achieve a carbon-positive target by 2030.

As Gürmen Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., we hereby declare and undertake that we will ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of this policy and establish the necessary awareness accordingly.
